The Dorset Meat Company appoints CuCo

CuCo are delighted to announce that we’ve just been appointed by The Dorset Meat Company to work on a number of branding, creative and digital projects this year.
The Dorset Meat Company was founded with the goal of providing its customers with sustainable, grass-fed, outdoor-reared meat produced at small, family-run farms across Dorset and Wiltshire.
Producing meat in this way makes a whole lot of sense for everyone involved. It’s better for animals, local ecology, farmers and for meat-eaters too. Grass-fed meat is higher in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and eating meat from animals that themselves have only eaten a natural diet of grass, wildflowers, clovers and legumes ensures the meat is untainted by chemicals, antibiotics and pesticides.
It’s the healthy choice to make.
Dorset-based Founders Jane and Nick Somper are passionate about traditional British Farming.
We all want to know where our food comes from and in their mission to champion the production of truly wholesome, natural meat, the couple selected a small group of local, Dorset and Wiltshire farms through whom they could provide lovingly-reared, grass-fed beef, lamb, pork, chicken and wild game.
By selecting farms who share their ethics and values, The Dorset Meat Company is able to provide its customers with meat they can trust completely.
As recommended by The Independent: Best Meat Boxes, the company’s contemporary meat box delivery model marries the traditional and the progressive, allowing customers to either build their own meat box or order one of the company’s set boxes including ‘The Caveman Fitness Box’ or their ‘Phil The Freezer’ Meat Box to suit their individual needs.
The Dorset Meat Company is a perfect example of the client philosophy we have here at CuCo, working with passionate business owners who truly care about sustainability and their wider global impact. Underpinning this is a nurturing of ethical, mutually-beneficial relationships with sustainable, artisan producers wherever possible.
Thomas Hardy famously described Dorset as ‘partly real, partly dream country’ and with over 40% of our county designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we’re extremely proud our agency roots in the lush green pastures of Dorset, its hard-working local farmers and their compassionate animal farming practices.
We’re excited to get started. Watch this space.
