Celebrating 15 years of CuCo Creative
It’s official: Our award-winning creative marketing agency CuCo Creative, is 15 years young! That’s right, that means 15 years of doing all things branding, marketing, packaging, and digital projects, and we’ve enjoyed every minute of it!
Whilst the celebrations and high spirits continue in the design studio this week, we also find it important to reminisce on our hard work, so we have selected some of our standout projects for each of our services.
15 years of Marketing
Pavilion Dance has been a long-term client of ours over the 15 years, dating back to 2010. This partnership has seen a variety of exciting marketing materials produced in the 13 years of collaborating, including, but not limited to, brochures, seasonal programmes, flyers, posters, website design and build, social media advertising and even signage. The evolution of our design work for the prestigious dance organisation has been an incredible journey. Our latest innovation is apparent in the Autumn 2023 ‘What’s on’ guide, including a gatefold front cover design instead of the standard programme design. We love working with Pavilion Dance for allowing us creative freedom to design their brand with a fresh, vibrant and inspiring personality and look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.
15 years of Branding
To date, one of our most exciting branding projects was overseeing a full rebrand for the sector-leading sustainable brand Scrummi, creators of single-use salon towels. In 2019, the partnership saw us completely transform the brand’s existing communications and start fresh. Our mission was to make Scrummi stand out from the competition, and we achieved this by being disruptive, incorporating a fun and cheeky tone of voice that we made loud! Our rebrand design also saw a fresh new look with bright colours, smart typography and captivating photography. We had so much fun with this project; even better, the client loved the outcome, too, as it further positioned them as leaders in their sector.
15 years of Packaging
When Wild England approached us in 2020, we knew this would be a standout project. Being a sustainable agency ourselves, we aligned with Wild England’s values, so we were over the moon designing their refillable and ethical shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, and cleansing gel packaging. With Wild England wanting to echo their brand philosophy, we had the exciting task of ensuring we minimised waste, maximised sustainability and reduced ecological footprint whilst developing the packaging design. The outcome saw a sleek and contemporary packaging design incorporating everlasting reusable glass bottles, biodegradable refill bottles, and bottle holders for the bathroom made from mycelium. We are incredibly proud of the final creative look, and the recognition received across the industry is nothing but glowing.
15 years of Digital
Kent Brushes approached CuCo Creative in 2015 to help build its digital presence. The successful relationship began with launching a social media campaign to drive awareness of a new innovative hairbrush called the Oooh Brush. The campaign’s success would see us promptly begin designing and developing a responsive eCommerce website built in Magento, factoring in warehouse integration. The essence of the website needed to consist of a site that helped build relationships within the industry, supply a dedicated place to seek advice on products, including a full eCommerce functionality for Kent Brushes, and more! The website’s design was a modern twist on the brand’s traditionalism to target millennials and cater for its loyal customer base. The website kept our Bournemouth web design team busy, with regular updates and maintenance needed for this fast-moving and ever-evolving website design!
15 years of Business highlights
In 15 years, CuCo has seen many highlights. Our creative marketing agency has grown from strength to strength, which has even seen us expand as a London design agency alongside our Bournemouth design agency. We have also won a fair few awards since we were founded. One of our favourites to date was winning the RAR Awards in 2015 for being ‘On Budget’. This best encapsulates our agency’s honesty and trustworthiness values, and we have stuck to it to this day!
Similarly, as an honest and eco-conscious marketing agency, we’re really proud of our efforts towards being sustainable and giving back to the planet over the last 15 years. Being committed members of Ecologi, our sustainable design agency is proud of our achievements in planting over 1100 trees and counting.
Looking back at our hard work over the years, when celebrating CuCo’s birthday, we recognise that we owe a big thanks to all those we’ve collaborated with. We’ve loved working on every branding, marketing, packaging design and digital project that’s come our way and can’t wait to welcome more in the next 15 years as we continue to grow.
