Royal Tank Regiment
The Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) required a brand new dynamic website and chose CuCo Creative to design and build their new site, which would act as both the online hub for veterans and a showcase for potential recruits.
The Royal Tank Regiment’s formation followed the invention of the world’s first tank, which was first used at Flers in September 1916 during the Battle of the Somme in WWI. Since then, the RTR has become a key division of the British Army with the need to encourage new recruits and support veterans. CuCo Creative’s goal was to design, build, and launch a high-quality website fit for the world’s oldest tank unit.
Royal Tank Regiment’s brand new web design would be created as a responsive bespoke WordPress website. This was so the site could meet unique requirements in terms of design and functionality.

Learn more about the project
CuCo Creative identified the importance of incorporating the RTR brand colours into the site, something not utilised on previous websites. Taken from the line “From mud, through blood, to the green fields beyond”, we included red, brown, and green colours into the sight and further connected them to the British Army they are part of.
The build of the website allows both veterans and potential recruits to learn more about the Royal Tank Regiment and how to apply and will enable veterans to use it for support. Here you can learn more about the Royal Tank Regiment and the eCommerce functionality that enabled account holders to purchase RTR products, such as clothing, mugs, and gifts.
Royal Tank Regiment’s previous website was too wordy and difficult to navigate. CuCo Creative designed and built a website with accessibility in mind whilst vastly improving the user journey with more images and more information on the RTR’s history.
