Sparkling New Packaging Designs for GirlZone
GirlZone are a fresh, new online retailer offering an exciting range of fashion-forward and unique products for girls aged 4-11 years. The GirlZone product range is delightfully glittery and girly, offering everything from lip gloss to hair chalk to relaxation colouring books. CuCo were approached by the brand at the beginning of the year to re-design all packaging for their fun and sparkly products. The old packaging lacked cohesion and a recognisable identity, therefore needed to be re-imagined to ensure instant brand recognition. As an experienced packaging agency, CuCo were extremely excited to work on the project and help to better portray the brand values and ethos through some brand-new packaging!
CuCo started the process by creating a strong and consistent brand identity and clear brand guidelines for GirlZone, which could be rolled out across all packaging and future marketing materials. The colour palette was also adjusted to give more flexibility rather than being limited to pink. In order to communicate the lifestyle of the brand through the packaging, glitter patterns in each of the core colours were incorporated in the design.
To further express the fun personality of the brand, popular illustrations ranging from rainbows, hearts, unicorns and fruits were included in the design.
Whilst the old brand lacked cohesion and a recognisable identity, the new brand truly sparkles and clearly communicates the values and personality of GirlZone. The new packaging is consistent, recognisable and clearly makes the brand stand out!
