Eco Aspects Sign Up

First impressions count.

On the back of a successful marketing push aimed at driving more monthly enquiries, Eco Aspects required the final piece in the puzzle – some external signage so customers visiting the offices and-soon-to launch Showroom could easily locate them. The need was apparent as the Eco Aspects team were finding that visitors to their office generally loved the feel of both the outdoor and indoor building (a beautifully converted country barn), some visitors were arriving frustrated, reporting difficulties in finding the company’s building and consequently their reception. Needless to say, this potentially had an impact on sales.

As the marketing campaign was proving such a success it was quickly agreed that professional, outdoor signage to help direct visitors was required. It would also have the added benefit of creating a sense of the professionalism and brand personality for Eco Aspects, even before the visitor entered the building.

Incorporating the brands Build It Green and Interlux, Eco Aspects are at the forefront of energy-efficient technology and practices and we knew any signage delivered needed to reflect this. Thinking along these lines we initially considered the use of timber as the primary material as it is strong and sustainable, reflecting the values of Eco Aspects and it’s sub-brands. However, we soon realised that timber requires a fairly substantial maintenance investment and we wanted the signs to be durable. Instead, we consciously sourced a long-wearing material with a hydropoint wood effect which would have greater weather resistance.

Once we had decided on the materials to be used, our talented graphic designers got to work. We knew how important it would be to incorporate elements of the Eco Aspects integrated brand campaign. The purple in the client’s logo was pulled out to ensure visual consistency with all other brand communications a visitor may have experienced before their visit. To ensure the wayfinding signs remain visible in the winter evenings, we back-lit the signs with LEDs and when the signs arrived CuCo were on hand to advise on the optimal positioning for the desired effect.


Since the day of installation we are pleased to report that Eco Aspects have received glowing comments on the signs from visitors both new and frequent, and their office exterior is now professional and distinctive. Not only that, because of the growth Eco Aspects have experienced in recent months, the signage will now be in place for the launch of their state-of-the-art showroom in 2015 which will showcase the companies windows, doors and other available finishes.

Through working on this project we have further built upon (pun intended!) our strong, long-standing working relationship with our client.
