Petite Hotels include the Limestone Hotel & Restaurant, the Lyme Townhouse and the Lulworth Lodge & Bistro.

With the business continuously booming, it became apparent that the previous website design and build were not matching the needs of the hotels anymore. Therefore, CuCo were approached by Petite Hotels last year to transform the online presence of the hotel group, which includes a total of 4 websites.

Our Dorset based Digital Agency were a natural choice, having previously created stunning and highly effective websites for brands such as PDSW, Kent Brushes, The Dorset Meat Company and English Oak Vineyard, just to name a few. CuCo’s team of talented digital designers and developers were excited to take on this project.

Petite Hotels wanted the ability to promote their rooms on their own websites without solely relying on their booking platform and making simple content updates on their website without the need of a developer. Unfortunately, their existing choice of CMS made these alterations not cost-effective, so CuCo’s digital experts migrated the content over to our preferred CMS, WordPress.

WordPress website design and build for small hotel chain Petite Hotels

Fast forward 2 months, and four new WordPress sites were built, which can easily be managed in-house where necessary. We also managed to tick all the boxes, including the “Book Now “buttons, to funnel booking through their own booking systems rather than using 3rd party booking platforms.

It was also crucial to the client that the new websites would communicate the brand’s sustainable values. Through the simplistic design, the brand photography, and an integrated “About us“ section on the website, CuCo’s digital team managed to perfectly reflect and communicate the sustainable drive of the hotel group.

Recognising the importance of great brand photography, CuCo were also asked to art-direct the new brand photography for the new sites.

The new sites would also include descriptions of all the rooms, integrated Instagram feeds, and a blogging functionality to help improve SEO.

Needless to say that Petite Hotels are delighted with their new websites, which have gone live just in time for the summer holidays!
