Film premiere in a unique setting
Last night I went to Athelhampton House for the UK film premiere of ‘From Time to Time‘, directed by Julian Fellowes. The family film is a haunting ghost story spanning two worlds, two centuries apart. When 13-year-old Tolly finds he can mysteriously travel between the two, he begins an adventure that unlocks family secrets laid buried for generations. The whole movie was shot on location at Athelhampton House to watch it where it was actually filmed was a unique experience; I urge you to do likewise. Athelhampton House will be screening the film from today in its own little cinema – you can book tickets here.
Achieves something that is very rare in recent years: a great British family film.

Rated amongst the best in the industry
We’re proud to say that we’ve been awarded Recommended Agency status, a great feat considering that only agencies which have been recommended by their existing clients appear on the list.
The Recommended Agency Register (RAR) helps companies source, select and engage marketing suppliers. It is an independent organisation which, together with its partner, the Carnyx Group, undertakes extensive research to identify the most reliable and respected agencies across advertising, design, PR and digital specialists. In benchmarking and auditing your existing suppliers it asks them to score us in the following areas:
›› Creativity and innovation
›› Strategic thinking
›› Account management
›› Overall professionalism
›› Value for money
There are 30,000-plus marketing/design companies in the UK but only 461* have achieved RAR status. A company will only achieve this status after an independent evaluation by the Recommended Agency Register assessing body. The fact we have achieved RAR status is testament to the quality of our work and the high level of service you won’t find with many other local companies. Thanks to our clients for taking part in the survey, for their kind words – and a big thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication.
So if you are looking for a new creative marketing agency, reviewing your design/digital roster, planning a new advertising campaign or simply curious what we offer, check out our profile on the Recommended Agency Register.

ISO paper sizes
The fifth of our technical/terminology articles.
Over time there have been many standard sizes of paper used across the world, but today these have been distilled down to just two, ISO 216 (A4, A3 etc) and the North American sizes officially only still used in the USA and Canada.
ISO 216 evolved from the German DIN 476 standard for paper sizes. and these are based in a single aspect ratio of square root of two. The base format is a sheet of paper measuring 1m² in area (A0 paper size). Successive paper sizes in the series – A1, A2, A3, and so forth – are defined by halving the preceding paper size along the larger dimension; therefore if you cut an A0 sheet in half you get two sheets of A1, and so on. This aspect ratio is especially convenient for a paper size, as each size has the same width/height ratio, which allows the easy scaling of work.
